Philipp Schaufelberger wurde 1970 in Göttingen geboren und ist seit reichlich 20 Jahren als Musiker unterwegs, zb. mit den Bands von Pierre Favre, Lucas Niggli und Harald Haerter.
Als Interpret zeitgenössischer Musik arbeitet er regelmässig mit dem Ensemble für Neue Musik Zürich.
Philipp spielte mit Musikern wie Dewey Redman, Michael Brecker, Paul Motian, Kenny Wheeler, Arthur Blythe, Jim Black und gerne auch mit vielen anderen.
Tourneen führten durch Europa, Kanada, USA, China und Indien; Festivalkonzerte zb. nach Montreux, Willisau, North Sea, Moers, Saalfelden und Vancouver.
Als Komponist und Produzent kann Philipp auf 'measured & detale' und in zahlreichen Hörspielarbeiten für Schweizer und Deutsche Radiosender gehört werden.
Seine Sendung 'The FIZROK SHOW' ist alle zwei Monate auf Radio Lora aus Zürich zu hören.

Philipp Schaufelberger was born in Göttingen in 1970.
He has been touring and recording extensively with the groups of Pierre Favre, Lucas Niggli and Harald Haerter and has performed with musicians like Dewey Redman, Michael Brecker, Paul Motian, Kenny Wheeler, Arthur Blythe, Jim Black and many others.
Tours throughout Europe, Canada, USA, China and India, Festival appearances at Montreux, Willisau, North Sea, Moers, Saalfelden, Vancouver, etc.
Besides jazz and improvised music, Philipp regularly appears in contexts of contemporary classical music.
As a composer and producer, he can be heard on 'measured & detale' and numerous radio dramas for Swiss and German National Broadcasts.
